The town serves the residents and sporting community with a variety of services. Sports houses providing winter and summer Sports equipment, clothing, and accessories; Parfumeries and Pharmacies; bakeries, a Delicatessen and a full range of electrical and gift retailers, complementing the larger COOP-style store which offers general item and household shopping.

Bus and train services run with one change to Geneva or to other resorts such as nearby Verbier and Gstaad or you can travel down to large towns such as Aigle or Monthey in the Valley.

Good intemediate and beginners runs and traditionally excellent ski school with Swimming pool and tennis centre, Badminton, Squash, ice rink and ice hockey in the winter......

2 Golf courses, mountain walks, rock climbing, swimming, and other outdoor sports at the leisure centre including a climbing wall, badminton and squash courts during the summer. Natural spa baths are to be enjoyed at the foot of the mountain.

Free town buses and, for those that don't favour cable cars, a train or telecabine will take you directly to the mountain slopes to ski or walk.
